Comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian "Bash" Croft have won The Celebrity Traitors, BBC News and The Independent report. The two faithful players outlasted the show's remaining traitors, Love Island host Maya Jama and YouTuber King Kenny.

Seven celebrities were left at the start of the final episode, the outlets report. Kenny reached the endgame after turning on his fellow traitor Jama at the last round table, BBC News says. Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock was the first to go in the endgame.

In the endgame, singer James Blunt and Kenny were tied in a vote, a first for the show, The Independent reports. Croft persuaded Ranganathan to banish Kenny rather than Blunt, securing victory for the faithful. "Almost scraped it," Kenny said, according to BBC News.

In a final twist, Blunt was the only player to vote to banish again, and he was voted out himself, BBC News reports. Had he chosen to end the game, he could have shared the win.

"This might actually be the best day of my life," said Croft, 24, through tears, according to BBC News. Ranganathan said: "I just really hope my mum's proud."

The pair will split the £83,000 prize between two charities, the Refugee Council and Choose Love, BBC News reports. The series drew 15 million viewers at its peak, The Independent says, making it a ratings hit for the BBC.

What we know: Ranganathan and Croft won as faithfuls, and the traitors were caught.
What we don't: Whether the show will return with a new celebrity cast.
