Terms of Use

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Site: NewsHabit.com

Operator: South Magnolia LLC (“NewsHabit,” “we,” “us”)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of NewsHabit.com and related pages operated by South Magnolia LLC. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This is a draft for review, not legal advice.

1. The service

NewsHabit publishes a daily news homepage and archives of prior editions. Content includes short briefs, longer full briefs, images with credits, and links to third-party sources. Features may change over time.

2. Informational use only

Content on NewsHabit is for general information. It is not legal, medical, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for professional advice or for primary-source documents.

3. No warranty

We work to be accurate and fair, but news develops quickly and third-party reporting can be incomplete or wrong. The site and content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4. Third-party links and sources

Stories link to outside articles, posts, and documents. We do not control those sites. Their content, availability, and policies are their own. A link is a citation, not an endorsement of every statement on that page.

5. Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original NewsHabit text are owned by South Magnolia LLC or its licensors. Images are used under the licenses and credits shown on each story (for example, public-domain U.S. government works or Creative Commons). You may not scrape, republish, or commercially reuse our original content in bulk without permission, except for ordinary personal use, linking, or fair use as allowed by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or block access if we believe these Terms are being violated.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, South Magnolia LLC and its officers, agents, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

Where applicable law does not allow certain limits, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, certain claims involving personal injury or intentional misconduct, where such limits are forbidden).

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless South Magnolia LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.

9. Privacy and corrections

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Our Editorial & Corrections Policy explains reporting standards and how to request a correction. Reach us via the Contact form.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Georgia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
