New York Comic Con opens Thursday at the Javits Center in Manhattan. The four-day fan convention runs through Sunday, Oct. 11, and marks its 20th anniversary with a Coney Island theme, organizers said.

The first day starts fast. At 11 a.m., the English-language cast of Final Fantasy VII Revelation appears together for the first time, joined by game director Naoki Hamaguchi, Hollywood Life reported. Rock star Alice Cooper also takes the stage at 11 a.m. with Stevie Van Zandt, according to the official schedule.

At 12:30 p.m., the Dexter franchise marks its own 20th anniversary with a Main Stage panel on the second season of Dexter: Resurrection. At the same time, NBC hosts a Brooklyn Nine-Nine retrospective. A Sesame Street table read revisits "Numeric Con," the show's number-themed convention episode.

Later Thursday, Gundam fans get news on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom Zero. Marvel Television and Marvel Animation will preview upcoming Disney+ projects. Peacock also has an exclusive first-look screening of Crystal Lake, a series from Peacock and A24.

The rest of the weekend is packed. Friday brings Avatar: Seven Havens and a Blumhouse showcase with Violent Night 2. Saturday includes Futurama, Bob's Burgers, Star Trek and Percy Jackson. Sunday closes with panels for NCIS: New York and The Rookie, according to the official schedule.

Organizers said single-day tickets were offered for Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
