The Milwaukee Brewers erased a 4-0 hole and beat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-4 in Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday night at American Family Field, ESPN and the Associated Press reported. Milwaukee leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. Game 3 is Monday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, the AP said.

Tampa Bay scored four in the first against rookie Logan Henderson, helped by an error from shortstop Cooper Pratt. Liam Hicks hit a two-run homer in that burst, the AP reported. Milwaukee answered with early RBI hits from William Contreras and Garrett Mitchell, then drew within one in the fourth when Jonathan Aranda misplayed a grounder, ESPN said. Chandler Simpson also dropped a fly ball in a messy Rays defense, the AP reported.

Sal Frelick tied the game 4-4 with a solo homer in the sixth, his first home run in 103 plate appearances, ESPN reported. The AP said it was Frelick’s first homer in three months. In the seventh, Pratt redeemed the early error with a go-ahead RBI single off Kevin Kelly. Abner Uribe earned the win, and Aaron Ashby struck out Yandy Díaz to end it with Jonny DeLuca stranded at third, the AP said.

Manager Pat Murphy had praised Frelick’s "it factor" before the game, ESPN reported. Frelick said the club is built to chip away when trailing. The Brewers have seven postseason comeback wins this October, the AP said, as the series shifts to Tampa Bay.

Attendance packed American Family Field for a second straight World Series night. The Brewers’ bullpen threw scoreless relief after the first-inning mess, keeping the comeback alive until Frelick and Pratt delivered.

What we know: Final score Brewers 5, Rays 4. Frelick tied it; Pratt drove in the winner. Series is 2-0 Milwaukee.
What we don't: Who starts Game 3 and how Tampa Bay adjusts at home.
