Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank, 52, is expecting her third child with her husband, Philip Schneider, ABC News and Page Six reported.

Swank shared the news on Wednesday in an Instagram video, both outlets reported. The video showed the couple and their 3-year-old twins, Aya and Ohm, dancing in the dark with glow sticks on their bodies. It also showed Swank's growing belly, with a tiny baby shape outlined in glow sticks, ABC News reported.

"A lot of people have been asking what project I'm doing next, this one releases in December," Swank wrote in her caption, appearing to hint at her due date, ABC News reported.

Fans reacted with surprise and joy in the comments, Page Six reported. "Best news of the day, week, month and year!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!" one wrote.

Swank and Schneider married in California in 2018, Page Six reported. She was previously married to actor Chad Lowe.

The couple welcomed their twins in April 2023, when Swank was 48, ABC News reported. "It wasn't easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it," she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Swank first shared that she was pregnant with the twins on "Good Morning America" in October 2022, both outlets reported. "I'm going to be a mom -- and not just of one, but of two," she said then, ABC News reported.

The actress has spoken openly about becoming a mother later in life. "For me, it's not about bouncing back to our pre-baby bodies but rather bouncing forward into our new bodies and selves," she told Women's Health last year, ABC News reported.
