UGG and fashion label JW Anderson are launching their first shoe collaboration on Oct. 15, WWD Footwear News and British Vogue reported.

The unisex collection includes two styles, both outlets said. They rework UGG's well-known Classic Boot and its Tasman slipper with details from the penny loafer, a classic leather shoe.

The new shoes are called the UGG x JW Anderson Loafer Boot and the UGG x JW Anderson Loafer, Footwear News reported. Both have a rounded toe, box-stitching and a strap across the top. They come in three colors: chestnut, khaki and orange.

The collection costs between $300 and $400, Footwear News said.

Designer Jonathan Anderson said in a statement that UGG boots are "instantly recognizable" and that he was "interested in seeing something so familiar through the lens of JW Anderson," Footwear News reported. "For me, collaboration is about experimentation, bringing two distinct points of view together and seeing where that leads."

British Vogue wrote that at a quick glance the boot looks like UGG's original chestnut boot. A closer look shows stitching that borrows from penny loafers and from a "loafer" bag sold by JW Anderson, Vogue said.

The partnership will introduce JW Anderson to a new generation of shoppers, many of whom may already wear UGG boots, Vogue said.

Musician Dev Hynes, also known as Blood Orange, stars in the ad campaign, Footwear News reported.

The shoes will be sold on UGG.com, JWAnderson.com, at some UGG and JW Anderson stores and at retailers including Selfridges, The Webster and Lane Crawford, Footwear News said.

UGG is owned by Deckers Brands, Footwear News reported. The collaboration follows UGG's first collaboration with designer Willy Chavarria in September.

Anderson has worked with other shoe brands before, including Converse, Footwear News said.
