Dunkin' brought back its Spider Donut for Halloween on Wednesday and added new seasonal treats, USA Today and Food Network reported.

The Spider Donut, nicknamed "Spidey D," is a doughnut with purple frosting and a chocolate-glazed Munchkin doughnut hole in the center, both outlets said. Chocolate icing forms the spider's legs and white icing forms the eyes, USA Today reported.

The doughnut went viral years ago, when Dunkin' began making social media posts starring it, USA Today said. On Tuesday, Dunkin' posted a silhouette of the doughnut on Instagram with the words "The D is coming," and fans flooded the comments.

Dunkin' also introduced the Berry Battie Daydream Refresher, both outlets reported. The purple drink mixes berry, clementine and blueberry flavors with oat milk and is topped with purple marshmallow cold foam.

On Friday, Oct. 16, people who buy the drink can get a free limited-edition Dunkin' Bat Cup Sleeve at participating stores while supplies last, both outlets said.

The Halloween Munchkins bucket is also back with a new purple design that glows in the dark for the first time, USA Today reported. It holds a random mix of 50 Munchkins. Dunkin' will donate $2 from every bucket sold to its Joy in Childhood Foundation, USA Today said. The foundation gives grants to groups that help children facing hunger or illness, USA Today said.

The treats are available for a limited time, and prices vary by location, USA Today reported. They join other Halloween drinks Dunkin' added to its menu on Sept. 30, USA Today said.

Dunkin' is also selling Halloween merchandise, USA Today and Food Network said. A Spider Donut keychain costs $9.99, and a Mystery Boo Box costs $8.99.

Through Oct. 26, Dunkin' Rewards members can get four times the bonus points when they order ahead on Mondays, USA Today reported.
