Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris on Tuesday, Oct. 13, announced his first headline tour of North America, and the 18-date arena tour starts April 1, 2027, at TD Garden in Boston and ends May 27 at the Kia Forum near Los Angeles, Billboard and NBC Boston reported.

Harris has played big festivals and Las Vegas shows for years, but this is the first full tour of the U.S. and Canada with his name at the top of the bill, Billboard said, and the run is produced by Live Nation.

Stops include Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Houston, Austin, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Vancouver and San Diego; billboards teasing the tour went up in several cities last week.

Ticket sales come in steps; a Spotify presale starts Monday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. local time, EDM.com reported. An artist presale follows the next day; general sales open Thursday, Oct. 22, at noon.

The news follows a big stretch for Harris; last month he earned a Guinness World Record for the largest crowd at a DJ set by a single artist. About 1.6 million people saw him play a street party in São Paulo, Brazil, in February, Billboard and EDM.com reported, and he also headlined the Head Trip festival in California on Sunday.

Harris has had 22 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Feel So Close" and "We Found Love." Billboard said the tour is another sign of dance music's strength in the U.S. It cited a mid-year report naming dance as the fastest-growing genre.

What we know: The 18-date tour runs April 1 to May 27, and general sales start Oct. 22.
What we don't: Ticket prices and any opening acts, which have not been announced.
