One game decides it. The Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox play Game 5 of their American League Division Series tonight at Progressive Field.

First pitch is set for 8 p.m. Eastern, USA Today reported. The winner travels to Tampa Bay for Game 1 of the AL Championship Series on Monday.

Cleveland forced the deciding game with a 9-5 win in Game 4 in Chicago on Thursday. Cleveland's Ramírez homered, the AP reported.

Gavin Williams will start for the Guardians. He came out of the bullpen to get the final three outs of Game 4, his first major league relief appearance. "Gavin wants the ball. We want him to have the ball, and it's his game," manager Stephen Vogt said.

Williams went 14-8 with a 3.76 ERA this season and led the AL with 248 strikeouts. In Game 2, he struck out 11 over five-plus innings and threw 16 pitches over 100 mph, though Cleveland lost 4-3.

Chicago will start right-hander Sean Burke. He is 3-0 with a 1.19 ERA against Cleveland this year. It will be the first time in seven games this postseason that the White Sox use a traditional starter instead of an opener.

The two teams know each other well. Chicago went 9-8 against Cleveland this season, but the Guardians won the AL Central by one game, which gave them home field. So far it has not mattered: the road team has won all four games of the series.

"It's fitting two really good clubs," White Sox manager Will Venable said.

The National League series is already set. The Dodgers open the NL Championship Series at Milwaukee on Sunday, CBS Sports reported.

What we know: the starters, the time and the place.
What we don't: how deep each team will go into its bullpen.
