Slash, Myles Kennedy set 'Flying Blind' album, 2027 tour; tickets Friday
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators will release their fifth album, Flying Blind, on Feb. 26, followed by a 2027 world tour. The tour starts in South America in April, then hits U.S. cities including New York and Nashville. General ticket sales open Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. local time.
Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has new music and a long tour on the way with his other band. Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators announced their fifth album, Flying Blind, which comes out Feb. 26 on Gibson Records. It follows the band's 2022 album, 4.
The 12-song record was made mostly live in the studio with longtime producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette in Florida. NME reported that the band finished most of it in about a week, often recording two songs a day with everyone in the same room. "It's a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record," Slash said. "It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw."
The title track is out now, with a video shot at the Viper Room in Los Angeles. Kennedy said the lyric is about people who take shortcuts to find happiness.
The world tour starts April 2 in Santiago, Chile, and moves through Argentina and Brazil. The North American leg begins April 23 in Reno, Nevada. It includes two nights at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, the Beacon Theatre in New York on May 12 and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on May 17. The band then plays across Europe in June and July, including Cardiff Castle on June 30 and London's Eventim Apollo on July 7.
The band is Slash on guitar, Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar. "As long as there's electricity, we'll keep plugging in," Slash told Louder.
Slash has also hinted at a possible new Guns N' Roses album after that band's 2026 world tour ends in December, NME said.
Where to get tickets: General sale starts at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, Oct. 9, NME reported, and fans can sign up for early access.
What we know: The album date and tour dates are set.
