Victor Wembanyama had 43 points, seven rebounds and six blocks as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-111 on Saturday night, the Associated Press and Sports Illustrated reported. He also had four assists, the AP said. It was San Antonio's fourth win in a row.

Wembanyama made 17 of his 34 shots, the AP reported. The 34 shots were a career high, Sports Illustrated said. He has now scored 40 or more points 10 times in the regular season and 11 times in his career, the AP said.

Wembanyama got to 40 points in style, the AP reported. He blocked a three-point shot by Jonathan Kuminga, then raced down the court for a two-handed dunk.

Wembanyama arrived at the arena on Halloween dressed as the monster slayer Geralt of Rivia, Sports Illustrated reported. He then went on to put up what the outlet called a monster game.

Dylan Harper added 25 points, the outlets reported. That was a regular-season career high, Sports Illustrated said, and he also had six assists, according to the AP. "He's just so dominant," Harper said of Wembanyama, according to Sports Illustrated. "When he puts his imprint on the game, he's unstoppable."

Ayo Dosunmu led Minnesota with 27 points and nine rebounds, the AP reported. Kuminga and Jaden McDaniels each scored 19. The Timberwolves were without starters Anthony Edwards, who had knee surgery, and Rudy Gobert, who has back spasms. LaMelo Ball fouled out late in the game with 10 points, the AP said.

Stephon Castle played through a migraine and did not score, Sports Illustrated reported.

The Timberwolves host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, the AP said.

What we know: Wembanyama scored 43 points, and the Spurs have won four straight.
What we don't: When Edwards and Gobert will return for Minnesota.
