President Aleksandar Vučić conceded that his list lost Serbia's snap parliamentary election on Sunday to the Student List, Euronews and The Guardian reported. The Student List grew out of a year of student-led anti-corruption protests and turned that street pressure into a parliamentary win. Vučić said, based on a stratified sample, that it was clear his side had lost, Euronews reported. He said the Student List would have 135 to 140 of the 250 seats and his list about 105. Those seat figures are his.

Ipsos/CeSID projections from partial results put the Student List around 52 to 53 percent and about 139 to 141 seats, well above the 126 needed for a majority, The Guardian and Danas reported. Vučić's "Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia" list was around 39 percent and about 103 to 104 seats on those same projections. Danas carried CRTA figures of 51.47 percent for the Student List and 40.42 percent for Vučić's list. The Guardian's CRTA read was similar at about 51.2 percent and 134 seats to about 40.4 percent and 106. Figures vary by pollster and update. Only minority parties were also projected to win seats. These are projections, not final certified results.

Crowds celebrated in Belgrade after the concession, Euronews and The Guardian reported. This was a parliamentary vote. Vučić remains president. A prior NewsHabit card covered the vote as Vučić faced the student list. This update is the result and his concession.

What we know: Vučić conceded the parliamentary race to the Student List, projections show a Student List majority, and celebrations filled Belgrade streets.
What we don't: The final certified seat tally, which smaller parties clear the threshold, and who will lead the next government.
