President Trump and first lady Melania Trump cast early ballots in person Saturday at the Palm Beach County elections office in West Palm Beach, the Washington Post, New York Post, and CBS News reported. Saturday was the first day of Florida early voting, which runs from October 24 through Halloween, CBS News said.

Trump said he voted for all Republicans in Florida before flying to a Georgia rally for House candidates Mike Collins and Rick Jackson, the Washington Post and CBS News reported. The couple arrived together after Trump spent the morning at his nearby golf course, the Post said. The New York Post said Trump sounded hoarse and had stayed at Mar-a-Lago between campaign stops.

Trump has voted by mail in recent elections even as he attacks mail voting. On Truth Social he urged early voters in other states to return mail ballots or go to the polls for Republicans up and down the ballot, the New York Post reported. He claimed there is "a lot of cheating in vote by mail." When asked about a possible Iran attack, he said he may "finish it off" or see a deal, the Post reported.

CBS News and the Washington Post matched the basic scene: early in-person voting by the president and first lady in Palm Beach County on day one of the Florida window, after years of mail ballots from the same voter. Palm Beach County opened dozens of early-voting sites Saturday. Local TV crews filmed the couple’s arrival and exit as security cleared the sidewalk.

What we know: The Trumps voted early in person in West Palm Beach on Saturday. Florida early voting runs through October 31.
What we don't: How their in-person choice will shape turnout messaging in the final days.
