Ebola patients in Nigeria and Kenya both passed through Uganda's Entebbe International Airport on October 3, African health officials said Thursday, according to the BBC and AP, as reported by ABC News.
Investigators are looking at whether the patients could have been exposed through shared equipment or other contact, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, according to the BBC.
Officials are looking into some kind of contact between the patients at the airport, said Wessam Mankoula of the Africa CDC, according to the BBC and AP. He stressed that no link had been established, the BBC said.
Nigeria's patient is a 42-year-old Ugandan-born woman who lives in Abuja, the BBC reported. She is improving in isolation, the World Health Organization said, according to the BBC.
She spent about two and a half weeks in Uganda and returned to Nigeria on October 3, the BBC reported. She tested positive on October 20, it said.

The outbreak began in Congo in May, AP reported. It has infected more than 9,500 people there, killing nearly half, AP said.
