A Russian attack on a production and storage building in the Obukhiv district of Ukraine's Kyiv region has killed three people and injured six, Ukrainska Pravda and Suspilne reported, citing regional officials and the State Emergency Service.

The attack hit a facility in one of the district's communities on Monday evening, Suspilne reported. Russian drones struck the facility, Suspilne and LB.ua reported. The strike set off a fire at the site, Suspilne reported.

At first, officials said one man had been killed and six people injured, Ukrainska Pravda and Suspilne reported. All six injured people were taken to hospitals, Suspilne reported.

The death toll later rose to three, Ukrainska Pravda and Suspilne reported. "The number of people killed in the enemy attack on an enterprise in the Obukhiv district has risen to three. The enemy killed a man and two women," said Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional military administration, according to Suspilne. The bodies were found while crews dealt with the aftermath of the attack, Ukrainska Pravda and Suspilne reported. LB.ua reported that the newly found bodies were under the rubble of the facility.

"My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed. No words can ease the pain of losing loved ones," Tkachenko said, according to Ukrainska Pravda.

The fire has been put out, but crews are still clearing rubble, Ukrainska Pravda and Suspilne reported. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service were also working at the scene, Ukrainska Pravda reported. The emergency service announced the new toll on Tuesday, Suspilne reported.
