No. 14 Tennessee beat No. 6 Alabama 26-10 on Saturday at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, NBC Sports, Sports Illustrated's BamaCentral and On3 reported.

It was Tennessee's third straight home win over Alabama, NBC Sports and On3 reported. NBC Sports said it was the Volunteers' longest home winning streak against the Crimson Tide since 1996 to 2000. Fans stormed the field after the game, NBC Sports reported.

Alabama played without wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, who is injured, NBC Sports and BamaCentral reported. BamaCentral said the offense struggled without him and cited reports that he had surgery for a meniscus injury. Asked about his absence, Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell said, "It's not like we're missing Jesus," BamaCentral reported.

Alabama gained only 201 yards and turned the ball over four times, NBC Sports reported. Russell ran 19 yards for the Tide's only touchdown and threw two interceptions, NBC Sports reported.

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel praised his defense and the home crowd after the game, NBC Sports and On3 reported. "Defense, suffocating. Elite performance," Heupel said, On3 reported. Heupel also praised quarterback George MacIntyre and running back DeSean Bishop, On3 reported.

The win was Tennessee's first over a ranked team since 2024 and ended a seven-game losing streak against ranked teams, NBC Sports reported. Tennessee is now 6-1 and 3-1 in the SEC, and Alabama is 5-2 and 3-2, NBC Sports reported.

Alabama has lost two regular-season games in a row for the first time since 2007, after losing to Georgia last week, NBC Sports reported. With top-ranked Georgia and seventh-ranked Texas also losing Saturday, Tennessee is in position to move into the top 10, NBC Sports reported.
