Fourth-ranked Ohio State beat fifth-ranked Indiana 19-15 in Bloomington on Saturday, ending Indiana's 22-game winning streak, AP and CBS Sports reported. ESPN's box score confirms the final score. Indiana had won 22 straight overall and 19 in a row at home, the two longest active streaks in the Football Bowl Subdivision, AP reported.

It was coach Curt Cignetti's first home loss in three seasons at Indiana, in the first top-five game ever played at Memorial Stadium, AP reported.

Julian Sayin threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Jeremiah Smith on fourth-and-1 early in the fourth quarter for a 19-7 lead, AP reported. Josh Hoover answered with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Nick Marsh and a 2-point conversion pass to Turbo Richard to make it 19-15 with 10:30 left, AP reported.

Late in the game, on fourth-and-4 at the Ohio State 27, Hoover found a wide-open Marsh down the sideline, CBS Sports reported. Marsh's left foot came down out of bounds with 1:02 to go, AP reported, and Ohio State ran out the clock. "That was our blitz check," Cignetti said, according to AP. "This one is a tough one to swallow."

Sayin left in the fourth quarter after a hit from Indiana's Mario Landino and came back wearing a sling on his right arm, CBS Sports reported. "I don't have a ton of details, but it looks like Julian will be out several weeks," Day said, according to AP. Day did not give details on the injury, CBS Sports reported. Freshman Luke Fahey went 0-for-2 passing in relief, CBS Sports reported.

Sayin was 15 of 29 for 235 yards with two interceptions before he was hurt, AP reported. Hoover was 20 of 40 for 296 yards, and Charlie Becker caught nine passes for 165 yards, AP reported. Smith had four catches for 68 yards, AP and CBS Sports reported.

Ohio State (6-1, 4-0 Big Ten) has a bye next week and then visits 19th-ranked USC on October 31, AP and CBS Sports reported. Indiana (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten) visits Michigan next weekend, AP reported.

What we know: Ohio State beat Indiana 19-15 and ended its 22-game winning streak, but lost Sayin for several weeks.
What we don't: How long Sayin will be out, and who will start at quarterback for Ohio State at USC on October 31.
