Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff and Republican Rep. Mike Collins met Tuesday night in their second and final debate before the Nov. 3 election, Fox News and CBS News reported. The Atlanta Press Club hosted the hourlong debate, NBC News reported.

Ossoff pressed Collins over reports that Collins' son-in-law, David Alan Scheer II, shared Nazi propaganda images online, Fox News reported, citing a CNN investigation. "How weak a person do you have to be to be unable to stop someone under your own roof from disseminating neo-Nazi propaganda while you run for Senate?" Ossoff said, NBC News reported. Ossoff also asked Collins directly whether he considered himself a "white nationalist."

"I condemn any sort of hate speech," Collins said. "Antisemitism, hate of any kind. It's abhorrent," NBC News reported.

Collins said rhetoric like Ossoff's had motivated a New York man accused of threatening him. "I'm a little tired of this, Jon," Collins said. "This crazy person is in jail right now because of your rhetoric," NBC News reported.

Collins pressed Ossoff to denounce Reid Hoffman, the LinkedIn co-founder and Democratic donor whose name appeared in the Epstein files, NBC News reported. "Why don't you denounce that? Why don't you return that money?" Collins said, Fox News reported. Ossoff answered that Collins had voted to cover up the Epstein files and said President Trump was named "a thousand times in the Epstein files," CBS News reported.

Asked about 2028, Ossoff said he will not run for president. "I have zero interest in running for president," he said. "I'm not running for president. I'm running for re-election to the Senate," NBC News reported. He committed to serving a full six-year term, CBS News reported.

Collins again did not say directly whether Joe Biden won the 2020 election, NBC News and CBS News reported. "You know, Joe Biden went into office, and boy, Georgians paid for it," he said. Later, pressed by Ossoff, he said, "Yes, Joe Biden was the president," CBS News reported.

The two also clashed over tariffs and the war in Iran, NBC News reported. Trump plans to rally with Collins on Friday in Dalton, CBS News reported.

What we know: Ossoff and Collins traded attacks over extremism and Epstein ties, and Ossoff ruled out a 2028 run.
What we don't: Whether the debate shifts a race that the Cook Political Report rates as likely Democratic, CBS News reported.
