The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in National League Championship Series Game 3 on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium, ESPN, FOX Sports and the Associated Press (via CBS Sports) reported. Milwaukee leads the best-of-seven series 3-0.

Jackson Chourio led off the game with a 391-foot home run to right-center off Blake Snell, ESPN's box score shows. Brewers starter Robert Gasser then threw five scoreless innings, according to ESPN's box score.

Los Angeles took a 2-1 lead in the sixth after reliever Abner Uribe walked Teoscar Hernández, Kyle Tucker and Shohei Ohtani to load the bases, AP reported. Will Smith, who AP said was 1 for 25 in the playoffs, doubled home Hernández and Tucker. ESPN's box score charges Uribe with a blown save.

Snell had retired 14 batters in a row before the seventh, AP reported. Andrew Vaughn opened the inning with a walk, and pinch-runner Christian Yelich scored ahead of Jake Bauers' 412-foot two-run homer on the 11th pitch of the at-bat for a 3-2 lead. Garrett Mitchell followed with a 428-foot solo shot that made it 4-2 and ended Snell's night, AP and ESPN reported.

Brice Turang scored on a wild pitch by Justin Wrobleski in the eighth, and Joey Ortiz's RBI single in the ninth drove in Cooper Pratt, per ESPN's scoring summary.

DL Hall got the win and is 3-0 this postseason after 2 1/3 scoreless innings, AP reported. Snell took the loss after allowing four runs on four hits in six innings with nine strikeouts, AP said. ESPN's box score shows all three Milwaukee homers came off Snell. Trevor Megill got four outs for his fourth save of the postseason, AP said.

The Dodgers are two-time defending World Series champions. The only team to win a postseason series after trailing 3-0 is the 2004 Boston Red Sox, AP noted. Ohtani went 1 for 2 with a walk while batting sixth, the lowest he has hit in the order since joining the Dodgers, AP reported.

Game 4 is Thursday at Dodger Stadium. MLB moved it up an hour to 8 p.m. ET, and it airs on FS1, FOX Sports and Sports Illustrated reported. Tyler Glasnow is the Dodgers' projected starter, and the Brewers have not named theirs, both outlets said. Brewers manager Pat Murphy told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the plan was to get Dustin May an inning in Game 2 with an eye on a Game 4 start, Sports Illustrated reported.

What we know: Milwaukee won Game 3 6-2 and leads the NLCS 3-0.
What we don't: Whether Los Angeles can become only the second team in MLB history to erase a 3-0 series deficit.
