Texas looks close to full strength for the Red River Rivalry. On Wednesday, the No. 1 Longhorns listed just four players on the SEC's first availability report before Saturday's game against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, the Austin American-Statesman reported.

Tight end Nick Townsend is probable after missing two games. Receiver Kaliq Lockett and defensive tackle Justus Terry are doubtful, and offensive lineman Jordan Coleman is out. Terry has not played since a lower-body injury in pregame warmups before the Ohio State game in Week 2, On3 reported.

The biggest name was missing from the list. Running back Hollywood Smothers, the team's leading rusher, did not appear on the report, which indicates he is ready to play. Smothers suited up but sat out Texas' 20-17 win at Tennessee on Sept. 26 with a leg injury. He has 198 yards and two touchdowns on 41 carries this season after transferring from NC State.

Oklahoma has more questions. The Sooners listed 13 players. Four are out: receiver Trell Harris, running back Xavier Robinson, defensive back Jacobe Johnson and a linebacker. Left tackle Michael Fasusi, tight end Trynae Washington and lineman Fred Hinton are doubtful. Fasusi, a sophomore, has not played since Week 1.

Five Sooners are questionable, including linebacker Cole Sullivan, safety Michael Boganowski and starting guard Eddy Pierre-Louis. Leading tackler Owen Heinecke is probable.

The two teams are heading in different directions. Texas has already beaten two top-15 teams, On3 noted, while Oklahoma has two losses. Texas is an 8.5-point favorite.

History is on the line for the Longhorns. A win would give Texas three straight Red River victories for the first time since 1997-99. Coach Steve Sarkisian is 3-2 against Oklahoma, while Sooners coach Brent Venables is 1-3 against him.

Teams will file updated reports later in the week.

What we know: Texas listed four players, and Oklahoma listed 13.
What we don't: Whether Fasusi and Sullivan will play Saturday.
