Harry Kane had a hand in every goal on his record night. The England captain scored twice and set up another in a 3-0 Nations League win over Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday, his 125th cap, Sky Sports and England Football reported. That ties Peter Shilton's England appearance record, which had stood for 36 years.

England went ahead in the 27th minute when Kane's low cross from the right was turned into his own net by Czech defender Vladimir Coufal. Kane made it 2-0 five minutes before halftime, finishing a cross from Morgan Rogers. He headed in a Lewis Hall corner in the 57th minute for his second.

The goals were Kane's 90th and 91st for England and his sixth in four games during this international window, England Football said. He left in the 82nd minute to a standing ovation from a crowd of about 78,000.

"I think this is even beyond my wildest dreams," Kane said. "The most important thing was the victory and the win. It's not about me, it's about the team."

England won three of four games in the window and scored 14 goals, Sky Sports said. It was coach Thomas Tuchel's first camp since England's World Cup exit earlier this year, and Sky said England now need just one point from their last two group games.

Spain also stayed perfect. The world champions trailed Croatia in Split after Ivan Perisic headed in a goal in the 17th minute, the first time Spain had fallen behind since June 2024, ESPN said. Mikel Merino came on at halftime and scored in the 61st minute. Perisic was sent off with a second yellow card in the 79th, and Merino volleyed in the winner in the 88th.

The win stretched Spain's unbeaten run to 43 games, with 36 wins. Spain and Portugal are the only teams to win all of their Nations League group games over the last two weeks, and both have clinched spots in next year's quarterfinals, ESPN reported.

What we know: Kane now shares England's caps record, and Spain has a place in the quarterfinals.
What we don't: When Kane will play the 126th game that would give him the record outright.
