Shane Gillis is coming back to Studio 8H. The comedian will host Saturday Night Live on Oct. 10, with Spanish singer Rosalía as the musical guest, NBC announced.

It will be the third episode of the show's 52nd season, and Gillis's third time hosting. He first hosted on Feb. 24, 2024, and returned on March 1, 2025, according to NBC.

Those first two visits produced sketches that spread widely online, NBC said, including the office comedy "HR Meeting" in Season 49 and "CouplaBeers" in Season 50. In both episodes, Gillis used his opening monologue to do stand-up before diving into the sketches.

Gillis got his start with the 2020 web series Gilly and Keeves before building his stand-up act, NBC said, and his career has grown fast since. He stars in the comedy series Tires, whose third season came out in August 2026, and TVmaze lists the show as renewed for a fourth season. NBC said his sold-out stand-up show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia set two Guinness World Records, and he hosted the 2025 ESPYs.

Rosalía returns as musical guest for the second time. She first performed on SNL on March 12, 2022, and also appeared with Bad Bunny on the show in February 2021, NBC said. She recently finished her Lux tour, which supported her 2025 album, Lux.

This season's cast also includes new members Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter, according to NBC.
