Monster still leads Netflix English TV charts
Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story held No. 1 among English-language Netflix shows for a second week with 14.5 million views. UNABOMBER opened at No. 1 among English movies with 16.4 million views for Sept. 21–27. Turkish thriller Not a Stranger led non-English TV.
Netflix’s latest weekly Top 10 package, covering Sept. 21–27 and still framing early-October viewing, kept Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story at No. 1 among English-language shows. Seat42F tallied 14.5 million views, up about 20% from the prior week — a rare second-week climb after a large debut. Ella Beatty stars as Lizzie Borden in the Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan anthology chapter.
On the movie side, UNABOMBER debuted at No. 1 among English-language films with 16.4 million views. Jacob Tremblay plays a young Ted Kaczynski alongside Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis, and Shailene Woodley. Non-English traffic stayed loud: Turkish thriller Not a Stranger led non-English TV with 9.7 million views, more than every English show except Monster. Indian thriller Irumudi topped non-English movies.
Lighter titles still charted. Best of the Best rose to No. 2 among English movies, and reality series Wonka’s The Golden Ticket entered English TV at No. 2. Crew Girl and the new A Different World sequel held mid-chart slots, while The Gentlemen Season 2 stayed in the English Top 10 for a fourth week. Animated holdover KPop Demon Hunters notched its 66th week on a global Top 10 list.
FlixPatrol’s U.S. daily snapshot for Oct. 2 shows a related but not identical mix, with A Different World atop TV and The Widower leading movies that day. Netflix publishes four separate global lists rather than one combined ranking, and title availability still varies by country.
What we know:
Monster led English TV for a second week; UNABOMBER led English movies in the Sept. 21–27 window; Not a Stranger led non-English TV.
What we don’t:
How long Monster and UNABOMBER hold after the next Tudum refresh, and whether daily FlixPatrol ranks will match the next weekly official lists.
Where outlets agree Seat42F and FlixPatrol both show true-crime and limited series dominating Netflix’s early-October U.S. conversation.
Where they differ Daily FlixPatrol ranks and Netflix’s weekly Top 10 lists can disagree on exact order even when the same titles dominate.
